Microsoft Dynamics ecommerce integration that puts your ERP pricing on the storefront.
Dynamics 365 ecommerce integration should mean your store shows each buyer the price, stock, and terms that Business Central or NAV already holds, and every web order lands in Dynamics without anyone typing it. IWD builds that integration for Magento, Adobe Commerce, Shopify, and BigCommerce stores, including the custom fields and B2B rules a standard connector leaves out.
Business Central ecommerce integration problems we are called in to fix.
Dynamics is usually where the real business rules live: customer price groups, payment terms, locations, and posting setup. When the storefront does not read those rules, your team fills the gap by hand. These are the symptoms we hear on almost every first call.
Sales orders are keyed in twice
Web orders arrive by email or export and someone re-enters them as Business Central or NAV sales orders, so every rush order waits for a person and every typo reaches the warehouse.
Customer price groups never reach the store
Customer price groups, line discounts, and contract prices are maintained in Dynamics, but buyers see list price online and call their rep to get the number they were quoted.
Inventory by location is out of date
Stock syncs once a day, or only from one location, so the store sells items that are already allocated and backorders surprise customers after checkout.
Shipments and invoices stay in the ERP
Customers cannot see tracking, posted invoices, or open balances in their account, so your team answers the same order status questions by phone all day.
The NAV integration nobody wants to touch
A custom NAV connection written years ago still runs the business, but the developer is gone, and the planned move to Business Central keeps slipping because nobody knows what it does.
Business Central, NAV, or Dynamics 365: the edition decides how you connect.
The three Dynamics products expose data in different ways, and most companies have customized theirs. We start every Dynamics 365 ecommerce integration by confirming the edition, the version, and where your custom fields live.
Dynamics 365 Business Central
Business Central exposes its data through standard REST APIs and OData web services, and custom logic lives in AL extensions. That makes it the cleanest Dynamics edition to integrate: we map customers, items, price groups, locations, sales orders, shipments, and posted invoices, and add API pages or extensions where your setup has custom fields.
Dynamics NAV
NAV is often heavily customized and runs on-premise, with SOAP or OData web services and code only one person understands. We document what the current integration really does, keep it running, and design the new one so it survives the eventual upgrade to Business Central.
Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain
Enterprise Dynamics deployments publish data entities over OData and usually sit behind an integration layer that other systems already use. We work with your Microsoft partner and IT team to connect the storefront to that layer rather than around it.
Dynamics ecommerce integration for four platforms, each with its own rules.
The same Business Central setup behaves differently behind each storefront. Here is where the work sits on each platform, and where to read more about the platform side.
Magento Dynamics 365 integration
Magento Open Source lets Business Central or NAV data drive customer groups, tier prices, and checkout rules directly in custom modules. We queue the sync so reindexes, upgrades, and peak traffic never drop an order, and keep Multi-Source Inventory aligned with Dynamics locations.
Adobe Commerce Business Central integration
Adobe Commerce B2B adds company accounts, shared catalogs, quotes, and purchase order approvals, and each one has to land in Dynamics as the right customer, price group, and document type. BinMaster's Adobe Commerce store runs a bi-directional Business Central sync, and we built QC Supply's headless Adobe Commerce B2B platform on Dynamics NAV.
Shopify Business Central integration
Business Central ships with Microsoft's own Shopify connector, which covers standard products, customers, orders, inventory, and basic B2B companies, and for many stores it is enough. We step in when custom fields, pricing rules, or posting logic go beyond what the standard connector maps.
BigCommerce Business Central integration
BigCommerce B2B Edition customer groups, price lists, and quotes need to line up with Business Central customers and price groups, and Multi-Storefront orders have to post to the right company. We design that routing and build the API work to keep it in sync.

The Dynamics records that decide whether a B2B order goes through clean.
Every project starts from the same list and then follows your setup. Each record gets an owner, a direction, a timing, and an error rule before anything is built.
Customers, contacts, and companies
Business Central or NAV customers and contacts mapped to storefront accounts and B2B companies, with credit limits, payment terms, and tax status carried through.
Price groups, discounts, and contract pricing
Customer price groups, line discounts, quantity breaks, and contract prices shown to each buyer at checkout, so the web price matches the price your reps quote.
Items, variants, and units of measure
Items, variants, item attributes, and units of measure such as case and each, mapped to the storefront catalog so buyers order the way your warehouse ships.
Inventory by location
Available quantity by location or warehouse, synced on the schedule your volume needs, so the store promises only what you can ship.
Sales orders back to Dynamics
Web orders posted as Dynamics sales orders with payment, tax, freight, and PO numbers intact, and the right document type for terms customers.
Shipments, invoices, and order history
Shipment tracking, posted invoices, and order history returned to the customer account, so buyers can answer their own status questions.
Building a B2B storefront around Dynamics data? Our B2B ecommerce development team designs company accounts, quotes, and reorder flows around it from the start.
A Dynamics integration partner that stays after launch.
Same senior team from kickoff to launch and beyond. We do not outsource, we do not disappear after go-live, and we do not hand you off.
Across every phase. Discovery, build, launch, and growth, the same senior team stays with you.
ERP-driven stores we have built and kept running.

Our job is to get you promoted.
You're going to love coming to work. Think of us as an extension of your team, here whenever you need us. Our mission is simple: your store wins, and so do you.
One team for the storefront and the Dynamics connection.
Most Dynamics integration problems sit between two vendors: the agency that built the store and the partner that runs the ERP. IWD builds the storefront and the integration, and works alongside your Microsoft partner, so there is one team accountable for an order getting from cart to posted invoice.
Documented Dynamics integrations
Business Central at BinMaster and Dynamics NAV at QC Supply, both documented in public case studies.
B2B pricing done properly
Customer price groups, contract pricing, and terms are the hard part of a Dynamics integration and the core of our B2B practice.
Upgrade-safe design
We design NAV integrations so a later move to Business Central changes the ERP side, not the storefront.
Honest scoping
If Microsoft's connector or another pre-built option covers you, we recommend it. Custom work is for the rules that need it.
A Dynamics integration mapped with finance before anything is built.
Posting setups, number series, and customer price groups differ in every Dynamics company. Agreeing on them first is what keeps the integration quiet after launch.
Assess
A 30-minute call on your Dynamics edition and version, your storefront, and what has to sync. If Microsoft's connector or another pre-built option fits, we tell you.
Map
We document which system owns customers, items, prices, and stock, how documents post, and what happens on errors, with your finance team and your Microsoft partner if you have one.
Build and test
We build the storefront modules, API pages, or middleware, then run real sample orders for each customer type, payment method, location, and shipping path.
Go live and support
We switch on live sync, watch the first weeks of orders, and support the integration through Dynamics updates, new locations, and catalog changes.
What teams ask before connecting their store to Microsoft Dynamics.
The questions we hear most on the first call. If yours isn't here, just ask.
Can you integrate Business Central with Magento or Adobe Commerce?
Yes. We connect Dynamics 365 Business Central to Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce for customers, B2B companies, price groups and discounts, items, inventory by location, sales orders, shipments, and posted invoices. BinMaster's Adobe Commerce store runs a bi-directional Business Central integration we built.
Business Central has a Shopify connector. Do we still need an integration partner?
Often you do not. Microsoft's Shopify connector covers standard products, customers, orders, inventory, and basic B2B companies, and we will say so on the first call. A partner helps when custom fields, pricing rules, posting logic, or other systems around the store go beyond what the standard connector maps.
We are still on Dynamics NAV. Can we integrate now and upgrade later?
Yes. We built QC Supply's headless Adobe Commerce platform on Dynamics NAV. We can integrate with NAV today and design the integration so the move to Business Central changes the ERP side without rebuilding the storefront.
Which data syncs between Dynamics and the store?
Typically customers and contacts, payment terms and credit limits, customer price groups and discounts, items, variants and units of measure, inventory by location, sales orders, shipments, and posted invoices. We agree on the list, the direction, and the timing for each record in the mapping step.
Is the integration real time or scheduled?
It depends on the record. Orders usually post within minutes, inventory can be near real time or batched, and prices for large catalogs are often synced on a schedule with live lookups for specific customers. We choose per record based on volume and how quickly each one changes.
Do you work with our Microsoft Dynamics partner?
Yes. Many Dynamics customers have a Microsoft partner who manages the ERP. We coordinate with them on API pages, extensions, and permissions, so each side owns its part and nothing is changed in Dynamics without their review.
Do you support the integration after launch?
Yes. Dynamics updates, new locations, price changes, and new customer types all touch the integration. We provide ongoing monitoring and support alongside the rest of your store.
Tell us which Dynamics edition you run and what your team still keys in by hand.
Send us your storefront platform, your Dynamics edition and version, and the work your team repeats every day. We will come back within one business day with an honest read on the right approach.
