Choosing a BigCommerce B2B agency is a narrower decision than choosing a general BigCommerce shop. B2B Edition ships company accounts, price lists, quoting and an invoice portal, but a manufacturer selling to schools, libraries and other institutions still needs a partner who can sync customer-specific pricing from the ERP, get tax-exempt buyers through checkout, quote LTL freight for bulky products, and handle configurable items. Most of the budget and most of the risk sit in those gaps, so that is what this comparison measures.
This guide profiles 11 BigCommerce B2B partners against that buyer. Every tier, certification and client named below was checked on October 29, 2026 against the official BigCommerce Partner Directory and each agency's own website, and where the two disagree we say so. For the wider BigCommerce agency field, including DTC and headless specialists, see our Best BigCommerce Agencies guide.
Disclosure: IWD Agency publishes this guide. IWD is a BigCommerce Elite Partner, but it does not hold BigCommerce's B2B Specialized certification and has no published B2B Edition case study, so it is not ranked first. The decision framework names a competitor wherever one fits better.

What BigCommerce B2B Edition Does Natively in 2026
You cannot judge a proposal until you know what comes in the box. BigCommerce launched B2B Edition in June 2021 through its partnership with BundleB2B and acquired BundleB2B in April 2022. B2B Edition is requested through a BigCommerce Customer Success Manager or sales, and its price is not published.
| Buyer requirement | Native in B2B Edition | What usually fills the gap |
|---|---|---|
| Company accounts and buyer roles | Yes: multi-tier account hierarchies, buyer roles and permissions | Hierarchy and contact sync from the ERP or CRM |
| Customer-specific price lists | Yes: price lists by company, segment or role | A pricing translation layer when ERP rules are layered |
| Quotes | Yes: sales staff quoting with unique products, shipping rates and discounts, plus buyer quote requests | Custom quote flows or CPQ for engineered products |
| Purchase orders and net terms | Yes: payment methods such as POs shown or hidden per company, and company-specific payment terms | Credit decisioning and B2B payments providers |
| Invoice portal | Yes: buyers view invoice history and pay balances | Invoice sync from the ERP |
| Quick order and reorder | Yes: quick order pad by SKU or CSV, shared shopping lists, buy again | Usually nothing |
| Tax-exempt checkout | Partly, through core BigCommerce: exempt customer groups (Growth plan or higher) or a tax-exempt code passed to Avalara or TaxJar | Certificate collection through the tax provider or a checkout upload app |
| LTL freight for bulky products | No | Shipping apps such as ShipperHQ or Eniture Real-Time Shipping Quotes |
| Configurable products | Standard options and variants only | A configurator app or custom build for rules, 3D and CAD |
| ERP integration | Open APIs and listed partners (Celigo, Kensium, Patchworks, TradeCentric for punchout) | Middleware or a custom sync |
Two details matter for institutional sellers. BigCommerce's help center says it cannot give tax advice, and with an automatic tax provider the exemption rules live in that provider, so certificate collection is a project decision rather than a checkbox. And ShipperHQ's documentation states that BigCommerce checkout does not natively let buyers select freight accessorials such as liftgate or inside delivery; the workaround is a duplicated carrier service with the charge built into the rate. A partner quoting a manufacturer of bulky goods should raise both points before you do.
How to Judge a BigCommerce B2B Agency
Score every candidate on these six dimensions before you compare logos.
- Directory tier and B2B Specialized status. The BigCommerce Partner Directory ranks agencies as Elite, Preferred, Partner or Enrolled and separately marks B2B Specialized partners. On October 29, 2026, 76 of the 756 listed partners held B2B Specialized: 8 Elite, 8 Preferred, 13 Partner and 47 Enrolled, which the directory shows with no tier badge. Several agencies describe a different tier on their own sites, so check the directory yourself.
- Named B2B Edition projects. Ask for live stores. B2B Edition storefronts load BigCommerce's B2B scripts, usually the buyer-portal script, which you can see in the page source.
- ERP depth with your ERP. Customer-specific pricing is where integrations break, because many ERPs layer price levels, group pricing and item overrides that B2B Edition price lists apply more simply.
- Institutional workflows. Purchase orders, net terms, tax-exempt certificates and freight for oversized items are the requirements most often missing from a first proposal.
- Configurable products. Options and variants are native. Rules-based configurators with drawings or quote output are not.
- Company fit. A 7-person studio, a 100-person specialist and a full-service enterprise agency are different purchases. Match the partner's typical client to your size.

The 11 BigCommerce B2B Agencies, Profiled
The list is ordered by the weight of verified BigCommerce B2B evidence first and directory tier second. Every fact comes from the BigCommerce Partner Directory, the agency's own website, or a live check of the client storefront on October 29, 2026.
01. Mira Commerce
At a glance: miracommerce.com · BigCommerce Elite · B2B Specialized · BigDev Certified
Headquarters: Walnut Creek, California.
Specialties: Enterprise BigCommerce implementations, Catalyst headless storefronts, Multi-Storefront, B2B and wholesale deployments, and integration through middleware such as Celigo and Boomi. Its directory profile names Epicor and Microsoft Dynamics among the ERPs it connects, and its client list includes DESTACO, USA Scientific, National Hospitality Supply and Dunlop Manufacturing.
BigCommerce B2B evidence: DESTACO, a global provider of automation, workholding and specialty engineered products, runs on BigCommerce Catalyst with BigCommerce B2B for custom pricing and account management, plus a configurator integrated with CDS Visual so buyers can view 3D models and download CAD drawings. Oracle ERP and Salesforce CRM connect through Boomi, and the live storefront loads B2B Edition's headless script. Mira's directory profile also features Spirit of '76 Fireworks improving its B2B wholesale experience.
Best for: Manufacturers with engineered or configurable products, enterprise ERPs, and an appetite for a headless front end. Simple catalogs on mid-market budgets will find smaller partners leaner.
02. Anchor Group
At a glance: anchorgroup.tech · BigCommerce Elite · B2B Specialized · BigDev Certified · Oracle NetSuite Alliance Partner
Headquarters: Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, with what its profile calls "USA-based senior consultants".
Specialties: NetSuite first. Anchor Group implements NetSuite, builds BigCommerce and SuiteCommerce storefronts, and specializes in BigCommerce and NetSuite integration, often through Celigo. Most of its published case studies are NetSuite projects.
BigCommerce B2B evidence: A September 2026 case study shows how Anchor moved CPC Signs, a traffic, safety and municipal signage supplier with government customers, onto B2B Edition without changing its NetSuite pricing. NetSuite combined price levels, group pricing for government customers and item-specific pricing; Anchor built custom Celigo flows that translate those layers into price lists B2B Edition can apply. CPC Signs' live store loads the B2B Edition buyer portal. A second case study connects NetSuite, headless BigCommerce and Celigo for a custom apparel manufacturer the firm describes as $100M+.
Best for: Manufacturers and suppliers on NetSuite, especially those selling to government or institutional buyers with negotiated pricing. On another ERP, favor a partner whose history matches yours.
03. Silk Commerce
At a glance: silkcommerce.com · Listed as Silk Software · BigCommerce Elite · B2B Specialized · BigDev Certified
Headquarters: Irvine, California, with an office in New York.
Specialties: B2B and B2C commerce, managed services and ERP-connected builds. Silk lists BigCommerce awards for Partner of the Year (2018), B2B Excellence (2019) and Excellence in Delivery (2021), and cites 150+ BigCommerce deployments. Its directory profile describes ShopHive, a Silk accelerator that connects Epicor ERP to BigCommerce.
BigCommerce B2B evidence: Therafirm, the wholesale arm of compression hosiery manufacturer Knit-Rite, moved from Magento 1 to BigCommerce with BundleB2B, the B2B technology BigCommerce later acquired. Buyers log in to a corporate account with negotiated pricing, order by SKU or CSV, reorder from company history, pay by purchase order, and pick size, color and compression level from an order grid. Silk also took over an ERP integration that syncs inventory, orders and customers.
Best for: Manufacturers running a wholesale program on Epicor. Therafirm predates the B2B Edition name, so ask for a current B2B Edition reference.
04. IntuitSolutions
At a glance: intuitsolutions.net · BigCommerce Partner tier in the directory (its profile text says "Certified Elite BigCommerce Partner") · B2B Specialized · BigDev Certified
Headquarters: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with a "100% US-Based Team".
Specialties: BigCommerce development, migrations, checkout customization and support, plus its own Ebizio Checkout app, which adds purchase orders, ship on account, and customer-group payment and shipping rules. Its Document Uploads module, listed at $99 per month, lets buyers attach purchase orders and tax exemption forms at checkout. For schools and libraries that pay by PO and must prove exemption, that is a direct fit.
BigCommerce B2B evidence: Citadel Floors, a Rust-Oleum division that makes concrete coatings and floor systems, migrated to BigCommerce with B2B Edition configured for login-only pricing, customer-specific SKUs and pricing, and distributor relationships beside a B2C storefront. The stack includes ShipperHQ, Vertex for tax, and SAP field mapping ahead of ERP integration, and the live store loads the B2B Edition buyer portal.
Best for: Institutional sellers whose buyers pay by PO and submit tax-exempt certificates, and mid-market teams that want a US-only bench. For heavy middleware, compare with Anchor Group or Mira Commerce.
05. Access Solutions
At a glance: access.dev · No tier badge in the directory · B2B Specialized · BigDev Certified · B2B Quick Start Accelerator partner
Headquarters: Not stated on its site; its directory profile lists a Nevada address.
Specialties: B2B portals, account-based pricing, Catalyst headless builds, Multi-Storefront, migrations from Magento and Shopify, and ERP integrations; its profile names NetSuite, Acumatica, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage and Cin7. It is listed as a certified partner in BigCommerce's B2B Quick Start Accelerator, a fixed-price program described in the costs section below.
BigCommerce B2B evidence: Brennan Industries, a hydraulic fittings manufacturer and distributor, moved from WooCommerce to BigCommerce B2B Edition with a React front end, company accounts with role-based permissions, customer-specific pricing validated through cart, shopping list and quote pages, a custom quote flow that follows its NetSuite negotiation process, CAD file access and a part-number cross-reference tool. NetSuite syncs pricing, inventory and orders in real time, with Catsy PIM and ShipperHQ in the stack. It was delivered with Cummings Creative Group, with Phase 2 underway at publication. A separate project for Chalfant, a cable tray manufacturer, added a custom multi-product quote request.
Best for: Mid-market manufacturers on NetSuite who want B2B Edition, quotes and industrial shipping logic without enterprise overhead, or a fixed-scope first launch.
06. Americaneagle
At a glance: americaneagle.com · BigCommerce Preferred in the directory (its own site says Elite) · B2B Specialized · BigDev Certified
Headquarters: Des Plaines, Illinois, with US locations that include Chicago, Los Angeles, New York and Washington, D.C.
Specialties: Full-service delivery covering design, development, hosting, 24/7 support and digital marketing. Its BigCommerce page claims 10+ years of partnership, 100+ BigCommerce certifications and 250+ BigCommerce implementations, and describes award-winning B2B Edition expertise. Its directory profile cites a 2018 BigCommerce B2B Excellence award.
BigCommerce B2B evidence: Berlin Packaging, a rigid packaging and industrial supplies company, sells 40,000+ products on a BigCommerce store Americaneagle built, with a proprietary ERP integrated for inventory, a customer portal showing credit limits, balances and order history, and a "quote cart" for special pricing. The case study does not say whether B2B Edition powers those features.
Best for: Enterprises that want one vendor for commerce, hosting and marketing with formal account management. Mid-market manufacturers will usually find specialists leaner.
07. Zaelab
At a glance: zaelab.com · BigCommerce Elite · BigDev Certified · Not B2B Specialized in the directory
Headquarters: Westport, Connecticut, per its directory profile.
Specialties: B2B commerce on BigCommerce and what its site calls revenue systems for complex companies, delivered since 2012, with a 2023 BigCommerce Excellence in Delivery award. It pitches price lists, customer groups, quote management, ERP sync and PIM sync.
BigCommerce B2B evidence: Starwest Botanicals, a Sacramento supplier of organic botanicals, spices and teas, ran separate B2B and B2C websites on legacy Magento. Zaelab moved it to one BigCommerce storefront serving both, with Syspro ERP syncing product data, pricing, inventory and orders. ABB appears among its BigCommerce work for a new B2B commerce platform. Neither case study names B2B Edition.
Best for: Companies that want B2B and B2C on one storefront, or that run Syspro. Ask about the missing B2B Specialized badge on the first call.
08. ioVista
At a glance: iovista.com · No tier badge in the directory · B2B Specialized · BigDev Certified
Headquarters: Dallas, Texas, with offices in Madison Heights, Michigan and Ahmedabad, India. In business since 2004.
Specialties: BigCommerce B2B, theme customization, Blueprint-to-Stencil upgrades, migrations and integrations from a hybrid US and India team. Its directory profile names NetSuite, SAP and Acumatica experience.
BigCommerce B2B evidence: Whiteoak Orthodontics, an orthodontic supply company selling B2B and direct, moved from Magento to BigCommerce with login-to-see-price, volume discounts and multi-item add to cart. Regis Manufacturing, which supplies tools to engine builders and is tagged B2C in ioVista's case study, shows configurable-product and quote-app work: a Blueprint-to-Stencil move with configurable products replacing individual listings and a Quote Ninja quote app. We did not find a published project that names B2B Edition.
Best for: Smaller manufacturers with configurable catalogs and tighter budgets that want a Texas-based lead with offshore capacity. For full B2B Edition plus deep ERP sync, ask for a specific reference.
09. Groove Commerce (The B2B eCommerce Agency)
At a glance: b2becommerceagency.com · BigCommerce Preferred in the directory · B2B Specialized · BigDev Certified
Headquarters: Baltimore, Maryland. groovecommerce.com now redirects to The B2B eCommerce Agency, "A Groove Commerce company".
Specialties: B2B portals for manufacturers and distributors of "roughly $50M to $500M in revenue" on whichever platform fits: BigCommerce, Shopware, Znode, Shopify, Adobe Commerce or Salesforce Commerce. Its process starts with a two-week, $5,000 diagnostic and runs a customer pilot before full rollout. It names NetSuite, Epicor, Prophet 21, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor and Acumatica among its ERPs.
BigCommerce B2B evidence: Homepage testimonials come from TPC Wire & Cable and Ballard Industrial, whose store runs on BigCommerce, and its directory profile features Cutter & Buck's move from Magento 1 to BigCommerce Enterprise. The current site does not publish a B2B Edition case study.
Best for: Larger distributors that have not picked a platform and care most about buyer adoption. If BigCommerce is already decided, a BigCommerce-first partner may move faster.
10. Classy Llama
At a glance: classyllama.com · Listed as Classy Llama Studios · BigCommerce Preferred · B2B Specialized · BigDev Certified
Headquarters: Springfield, Missouri.
Specialties: New B2B and B2C builds, platform migrations and site rescues on BigCommerce. Its directory profile cites 125+ commerce sites delivered and 700+ customizations and integrations, with B2B and construction and industrial among its verticals.
BigCommerce B2B evidence: Lone Star Candle Supply, a candle-making supplies business, moved from Magento to BigCommerce with custom Celigo middleware for ERP integration and enhanced shipping logic; the client story reports a 65% drop in annual hosting, licensing and maintenance spend. The client stories we read do not name B2B Edition.
Best for: Manufacturers leaving Magento for BigCommerce who want a Midwest team with ERP middleware experience. Ask for a B2B Edition reference that matches your workflows.
11. IWD Agency
At a glance: iwdagency.com · BigCommerce Elite Partner · Adobe Commerce partner · Shopify partner · Founded 2008
Headquarters: Austin, Texas, with a team in Barcelona.
BigCommerce status: IWD is a BigCommerce Elite Partner, although its Partner Directory listing is out of date and does not show the badge yet. It does not hold the B2B Specialized certification and has no published B2B Edition case study, which is why it sits last on a list ordered by BigCommerce B2B evidence.
Specialties: B2B commerce and ERP integration for manufacturers and distributors, proven mostly on Adobe Commerce. Daniels Manufacturing (DMC), an aerospace and defense tooling manufacturer, runs Adobe Commerce B2B synced with Infor SyteLine, and Warner Press reconciles its Magento store with Sage Intacct. Because IWD also builds on Adobe Commerce and Shopify, the platform recommendation is not a foregone conclusion. Senior engineers do the work, and about 94% of clients stay after launch.
Best for: B2B companies whose ERP integration is the hard part, companies still deciding between BigCommerce, Shopify Plus and Adobe Commerce, and companies moving off Magento that want the platform question answered before the build. If B2B Edition is already decided and you want a team that has shipped it many times, start with the B2B Specialized partners above.

What a BigCommerce B2B Build Costs in 2026
BigCommerce publishes one set of prices that anchors the low end. Its B2B Quick Start Accelerator, delivered through B2B Specialized partners, offers Core Launch at $15K, Growth Launch at $30K and Advanced Launch at $50K, with a 90-day launch target. Only Growth and Advanced include B2B Edition's company accounts, invoice portal and buyer portal, and their ERP sync covers a defined scope of products, orders, customers and companies.
Beyond the accelerator, the brackets below are IWD's estimates of typical market pricing from US partners. They are not IWD's prices or a quote from any agency on this list:
| Engagement type | Typical range (IWD estimate, except the accelerator) | Timeline |
|---|---|---|
| Accelerator package (BigCommerce published) | $15K to $50K | Up to 90 days |
| Mid-market B2B Edition build, one ERP, theme-based | $60K to $150K | 12 to 20 weeks |
| B2B Edition with deep ERP pricing sync, freight, tax exemption and a configurator | $120K to $300K | 16 to 30 weeks |
| Headless Catalyst B2B build | $150K to $400K | 20 to 36 weeks |
| Replatform from Magento or a legacy B2B system | $90K to $300K | 16 to 28 weeks |
| Ongoing support and improvement retainer | $5K to $20K per month | Ongoing |
The variables that move these numbers most are the ERP pricing model, the number of configurable products, freight complexity, and how many institutional buyers need tax-exempt onboarding at launch. Budget separately for the B2B Edition license, which BigCommerce quotes directly, and for apps: Eniture's Real-Time Shipping Quotes is listed at $30 per month and IntuitSolutions' Document Uploads module at $99 per month.
Is BigCommerce B2B Edition the Right Platform for This Buyer?
For a manufacturer selling to institutions, B2B Edition's native company accounts, quotes, price lists, PO controls and invoice portal cover much of the list out of the box. Adobe Commerce becomes the better fit when catalog, pricing or ERP logic needs deep customization, and Shopify Plus when B2B and DTC must share one tightly unified store. Our Shopify Plus B2B vs BigCommerce B2B Edition comparison and Adobe Commerce vs BigCommerce for B2B cover that decision. Settle the platform first, because a BigCommerce-focused partner will naturally steer you toward BigCommerce.
Decision Framework
Pick a BigCommerce B2B agency by your actual situation
Your ERP is NetSuite and your pricing is layered, contract-based or set for government buyers
Anchor Group. The CPC Signs project solved exactly this pricing translation on B2B Edition. Access Solutions is the mid-market alternative, with its own NetSuite and B2B Edition project at Brennan Industries.
You sell engineered or configurable industrial products and want CAD downloads or a configurator
Mira Commerce. DESTACO combines BigCommerce B2B, Catalyst and a CDS Visual configurator with Oracle ERP. On a lighter budget, ioVista has configurable-product work at Regis Manufacturing.
You run Epicor and sell through a wholesale program
Silk Commerce. Its ShopHive accelerator connects Epicor ERP to BigCommerce, and it holds Elite tier with B2B Specialized status.
Schools, libraries and agencies pay by purchase order and must submit tax-exempt certificates
IntuitSolutions. Ebizio Checkout handles POs, ship on account and customer-group payment rules, and Document Uploads captures exemption forms at checkout. Pair it with an ERP-strong partner if your sync is complex.
You are an enterprise that wants one vendor for commerce, hosting and marketing
Americaneagle. The full-service option with 24/7 support. Specialists go deeper on B2B Edition; nobody here matches its breadth.
You want a fixed-scope, fast first launch and can phase the rest
Access Solutions. A certified B2B Quick Start Accelerator partner with BigCommerce's published package prices. Plan phase two before you sign phase one.
You need B2B and B2C on one BigCommerce storefront
Zaelab. Starwest Botanicals consolidated two Magento sites into one BigCommerce store with Syspro sync.
You are a larger distributor that has not chosen a platform
Groove Commerce (The B2B eCommerce Agency). Platform-agnostic, built for roughly $50M to $500M companies, and starts with a paid diagnostic. IWD Agency is the alternative if Adobe Commerce is also in the running.
ERP integration is the hardest part of the project (for example Infor SyteLine or Sage Intacct)
IWD Agency. Its strongest proof is ERP-integrated B2B on Adobe Commerce and Magento, including Infor SyteLine and Sage Intacct. If your ERP is NetSuite, Anchor Group is the more direct BigCommerce match.
You are leaving Magento and still deciding between BigCommerce, Shopify Plus and Adobe Commerce
IWD Agency. A partner with active BigCommerce, Shopify and Adobe Commerce practices can recommend against BigCommerce without losing the client. If BigCommerce is already decided, Classy Llama has Magento-to-BigCommerce migrations with ERP middleware.
Questions to Ask Every BigCommerce B2B Agency
- Which live B2B Edition stores have you launched in the last 24 months? Get URLs and check the page source for BigCommerce's B2B scripts.
- What is your directory tier, and are you B2B Specialized? Ask for the directory link, not a badge on a slide.
- Have you integrated my ERP, and how did you map customer-specific pricing? Listen for price levels, groups and item overrides.
- How will tax-exempt buyers submit and renew certificates? Customer groups, tax provider codes and upload apps each work differently.
- Which freight app and carriers will you use for oversized items, and how will you handle liftgate?
- How do POs and net terms flow from checkout to the invoice portal to the ERP?
- How will you handle configurable products: options, an app or custom code?
- What have you changed in B2B Edition's open-source buyer portal, and how do you keep it upgradeable?
- Who exactly works on my account, and where are they based?
- Fixed bid or time and materials, and what does support look like after launch?
How We Scored This List: Methodology
Six checks, applied the same way to every agency, including IWD:
- Directory verification. We read each agency's tier badge and certifications in the BigCommerce Partner Directory on October 29, 2026 and filtered the directory by B2B Specialized. Where an agency's own site claims a different tier, we report both.
- Own-site evidence. Client names, awards, ERPs and features come from the agency's own site or directory profile, fetched the same day.
- Live storefront check. We loaded named client stores to confirm they run on BigCommerce and looked for B2B Edition scripts: the buyer-portal script on CPC Signs and Citadel Floors, and the headless B2B script on DESTACO.
- Workflow scoring. Company accounts, price lists, quotes, POs and terms, tax exemption, freight and configurators, weighted for a US manufacturer selling to institutions.
- ERP depth. Named ERPs on BigCommerce projects count more than generic claims.
- Company fit. Location, team model and stated client size, reflected in "Best for" rather than rank.
Agencies we checked but did not include
- ProjectThunder is a seven-person senior studio founded in 2004 that builds on Sana Commerce Cloud, BigCommerce and DynamicWeb and publishes BigCommerce integration guides for SAP and Microsoft Dynamics. Most of its published B2B portfolio is on Sana Commerce Cloud, its BigCommerce portfolio did not include a B2B Edition project, and it is listed in the directory with no tier badge or B2B Specialized certification. If your ERP is Dynamics or SAP and you are also weighing Sana Commerce, it is worth a conversation.
- Pivotree, BlueSwitch, Brandlabs, Space 48 and Sunrise Integration did not appear in a directory search that day, so we could not verify a current tier or B2B Specialized status.
- 1Digital Agency is listed as BigDev Certified but not B2B Specialized, and Nine could not be matched to a directory listing.
- Codal and MoJo Active hold Elite tier and B2B Specialized status; we did not review their full portfolios for this edition and will re-check at the next update.
Disclosure: IWD Agency publishes this guide and placed itself by the same evidence standard, which put it last. If you think any placement is wrong, send the evidence and we will re-score it.
Frequently asked questions
Which are the best BigCommerce B2B agencies in 2026?
On verified BigCommerce B2B evidence, Mira Commerce, Anchor Group and Silk Commerce lead: all three hold Elite tier and B2B Specialized status and have named B2B projects on BigCommerce. IntuitSolutions and Access Solutions follow with named B2B Edition projects, then Americaneagle; ioVista fits mid-market budgets. The right pick depends on your ERP, buyers and catalog, which is why the decision framework is organized by situation.
What does BigCommerce B2B Edition include natively?
Company accounts with multi-tier hierarchies and buyer roles, price lists, sales staff quoting and buyer quote requests, an open-source buyer portal, sales rep masquerade, shared shopping lists, a quick order pad, per-company payment methods such as purchase orders, company-specific payment terms, and an invoice portal. LTL freight rating, exemption certificate management and advanced configurators come from apps or custom work.
Can BigCommerce handle tax-exempt buyers such as schools and libraries?
Yes, through core BigCommerce. Stores on the Growth plan or higher can put exempt customers in a customer group excluded from tax zones, or enter a tax-exempt code that Avalara or TaxJar applies. Collecting and renewing certificates needs your tax provider's tools or an app that attaches the form to the order.
Can BigCommerce quote LTL freight for bulky products?
Not natively. Apps such as ShipperHQ and Eniture's Real-Time Shipping Quotes add live LTL carrier rates at checkout. ShipperHQ notes that BigCommerce checkout does not let buyers select accessorials like liftgate, so the usual workaround is a separate carrier service with the accessorial built into the rate.
What does B2B Specialized mean in the BigCommerce Partner Directory?
It is a certification shown alongside an agency's tier; 76 of 756 listed partners held it on October 29, 2026. BigCommerce's B2B Quick Start Accelerator is delivered through B2B Specialized partners, and its eligibility criteria include demonstrated B2B delivery and at least three active BigDev seats.
How much does a BigCommerce B2B Edition build cost?
BigCommerce's accelerator packages cost $15K, $30K or $50K for a fixed scope. IWD estimates that full builds from US partners generally run $60K to $150K for a mid-market store with one ERP, and $120K to $300K with deep pricing sync, freight, tax exemption and configurators. The B2B Edition license is quoted separately by BigCommerce.
