Choosing a Shopify B2B agency comes down to one question: who has already solved your hardest workflow? Turning on Shopify's company accounts takes an afternoon. Syncing contract pricing from your ERP, letting a school district pay a purchase order on net 30 terms, keeping a tax-exempt library from being charged sales tax, and quoting LTL freight on a pallet of shelving are where B2B projects succeed or stall.
This guide compares 10 agencies with verifiable, current Shopify B2B work, judged against a real brief: a US manufacturer selling to libraries, schools and other institutions that needs company accounts, customer-specific pricing and catalogs, quotes, purchase orders and net terms, tax-exempt checkout, LTL freight for bulky products, configurable products and ERP integration. Every competitor fact was checked on the agency's own site or Shopify Partner Directory profile on October 29, 2026.
Disclosure up front: IWD Agency publishes this guide. We are a Shopify Plus agency that also builds on Adobe Commerce and BigCommerce, and our live Shopify B2B record is thinner than our Adobe Commerce B2B record. Our profile says so, and the decision framework names a competitor whenever one is the better fit. To see real stores first, read our Shopify B2B examples; for a general shortlist, see the best Shopify Plus agencies.
The 30-Second Verdict
If you are scanning:
- US manufacturers and distributors with big catalogs, contract pricing and an ERP: Uncap, BlueSwitch, Fyresite
- Quotes and RFQs for institutional or capital-equipment buyers: Uncap, Fyresite
- Brand-led B2B and trade programs: Domaine, Avex
- Leaving Magento with custom B2B pricing logic: Shero Commerce, Swanky
- ERP integration is the hard part, or Shopify Plus versus Adobe Commerce is still open: IWD Agency
- Selling B2B in the UK, Europe or Australia as well as the US: Swanky, Eastside Co
- Published entry pricing before the first call: Absolute Web, Avex, Swanky
| # | Agency | Best for | Company size fit |
|---|---|---|---|
| 01 | IWD Agency | ERP-heavy B2B, platform decision still open | Mid-market to enterprise |
| 02 | Uncap | Manufacturers and distributors, ERP sync, quotes | Mid-market |
| 03 | BlueSwitch | Industrial and manufacturing replatforms | Mid-market to enterprise |
| 04 | Fyresite | Parts catalogs, configurable products, custom ERP connectors | Mid-market |
| 05 | Domaine | Brand-led B2B and trade programs | Upper mid-market to enterprise |
| 06 | Shero Commerce | Magento to Shopify B2B with custom pricing | Mid-market |
| 07 | Swanky | B2B with credit and ERP rules, UK, Australia, France | Mid-market |
| 08 | Eastside Co | Dedicated wholesale storefronts, London and New York | Small to mid-market |
| 09 | Absolute Web | DTC-first brands adding a professional channel | Mid-market |
| 10 | Avex | Design-led brands adding wholesale | Mid-market to enterprise |
The numbers are for navigation. IWD is listed first because we publish this page, not because we have the most Shopify B2B launches; of the agencies we reviewed, Uncap and BlueSwitch publish the most named Shopify B2B work for manufacturers.
How to Judge a Shopify B2B Agency
Score every candidate on these six dimensions before you compare logos.
- Named Shopify B2B work. Live storefronts on Shopify's native B2B, with the client named. A DTC portfolio with a wholesale password page is not B2B evidence.
- Workflow coverage. Ask the agency to sort your list (pricing, quotes, terms, tax exemption, freight, configurable products) into native, app or custom on the first call.
- ERP and integration depth. Prices, credit limits and invoices usually live in the ERP, and the integration is where B2B budgets slip. Good Shopify integration services teams name the connector, which system owns each record, and who supports it after launch.
- Partner status, read correctly. Shopify's directory tiers partners (Plus, Premier and Platinum, for example) on their history and results on the platform. Tier is a filter, not proof of B2B skill: several Platinum partners we reviewed had no named B2B work.
- US presence. B2B launches involve your ERP admin, finance team and freight carrier, so US business hours matter.
- Fit by company size. Match the agency's usual client to your revenue, catalog size and internal IT capacity.
What Shopify B2B Does Natively in 2026, and What Still Needs an App
Agencies quote different scopes for the same brief because they disagree about what Shopify does out of the box. This is the current state from Shopify's documentation, checked October 29, 2026. B2B now runs on the Basic, Grow, Advanced and Plus plans, but several features manufacturers need are Plus only.
| Buyer workflow | Native on Shopify (plan) | What usually gets added |
|---|---|---|
| Company accounts and locations | All B2B plans, with two location roles: location admin and ordering only | ERP sync of company records; multi-step buyer approvals need an app or custom work |
| Customer-specific catalogs and pricing | Catalogs on all B2B plans; Basic, Grow and Advanced allow 3 active catalogs across B2B markets; direct assignment to a company or location, and unlimited catalogs, are Plus only | ERP-driven price sync when you have hundreds of contract price lists |
| Quantity rules and volume price breaks | All B2B plans | Usually nothing |
| Quotes | Draft orders with custom or locked prices, sent as invoices; buyers can submit orders as drafts for your review | An RFQ or CPQ app, or custom work, for buyer-initiated quotes |
| Purchase orders and net terms | PO numbers, net terms, payment reminders, vaulted cards and ACH (US) on all B2B plans; deposits and partial payments are Plus only | Invoice and AR sync to the ERP |
| Tax-exempt checkout | Per-location tax ID and setting: collect, don't collect, or collect unless exemptions apply; US exemption codes are state reseller codes only | Certificate collection and renewal in a tax app or the ERP |
| LTL freight | No native LTL rating; third-party carrier-calculated shipping is included on Advanced and Plus, and Grow can add it | An LTL rating app or shipping rules engine, plus freight class and dimensions per product |
| Configurable products | Up to 3 options and 2,048 variants per product | A configurator app or custom build beyond that |
| ERP integration | Shopify names Acumatica, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Celigo as B2B integration partners | A connector, iPaaS or custom middleware |
For an institutional seller, three details matter most. Assigning a catalog directly to one school district or library system is a Plus feature. A public library is not a reseller, so it is usually set to "don't collect tax" at the company location, with its certificate kept outside Shopify. And nothing native rates LTL freight. Shopify also lists accelerated checkouts (Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay), local delivery and subscriptions as unsupported with B2B, and caps orders at 500 line items.

The 10 Shopify B2B Agencies, Profiled
Every agency below shows current, named Shopify B2B work on its own site or Shopify Partner Directory profile. Tiers are stated as the directory or the agency stated them on October 29, 2026. We include pricing wherever an agency publishes it on its site or directory profile.
01. IWD Agency
Website: iwdagency.com
Shopify partner status: Shopify Plus partner, listed as a Plus Partner in the Shopify Partner Directory. Also an Adobe Commerce partner and a BigCommerce partner, so our platform advice is not one-sided.
Headquarters: Austin, Texas, with a team in Barcelona. Founded 2008.
Specialties: B2B builds where the ERP is the system of record. Our deepest B2B and ERP work is on Adobe Commerce: Daniels Manufacturing (DMC) on Infor SyteLine and Warner Press on Sage Intacct. On Shopify, we are building a Shopify Plus B2B store for Europa Eyewear. We also run a YouTube channel of Shopify B2B reviews and demos. Senior engineers do the work, and about 94% of our clients stay with us after launch.
Honest limits: Our live Shopify B2B launch record is thinner than Uncap's or BlueSwitch's. If you want the agency with the most named Shopify B2B launches for manufacturers, start with them.
Best for: B2B companies whose ERP integration is the hard part, and teams still choosing between Shopify Plus, Adobe Commerce and BigCommerce.
Talk to the team behind this guide
Senior engineers, no junior bench, and about 94% of clients staying with us after launch. See our Shopify development services and B2B ecommerce development work, or book a 30-minute assessment and we will tell you which platform and which agency fit your brief.

Canon Medical Systems, a B2C checkout plus an institutional request-for-quote funnel for capital equipment built on Uncap Quotes.

Shopify partner status: Platinum Partner in the Shopify Partner Directory.

Head-to-Head Comparison of IWD and the Five US B2B Specialists
This matrix covers IWD and the five US agencies on this list with the most named Shopify B2B work; Swanky, Eastside Co, Absolute Web and Avex are profiled above. Scores are based on published evidence only, so a low score can mean "not shown publicly" rather than "cannot do."

★★★★★ deepest published evidence on this list · ★★★★ strong · ★★★ competent · ★★ limited or in progress · ★ not shown
IWD's two stars on Shopify B2B launches reflect that our named Shopify Plus B2B build, Europa Eyewear, is still in progress. Our ERP score is four stars, not five, because our ERP proof is on Adobe Commerce, not Shopify.
What a Shopify B2B Build Actually Costs
Shopify B2B projects usually cost less than equivalent Adobe Commerce builds because hosting, checkout and core B2B features come with the platform. The integration and the workflow gaps are where budgets move. IWD's estimates of typical market brackets for US agencies in 2026 (offshore and hybrid shops typically price lower):
| Engagement type | Low | High | Typical timeline |
|---|---|---|---|
| Add native B2B to an existing Shopify store | 15K | 50K | 4 to 8 wks |
| New Shopify Plus B2B storefront, blended or dedicated | 75K | 250K | 12 to 22 wks |
| Replatform from Magento or a legacy B2B portal | 100K | 300K | 16 to 28 wks |
| ERP integration through a connector or iPaaS | 15K | 60K | 6 to 12 wks |
| Custom bidirectional ERP integration | 40K | 150K | 10 to 20 wks |
| Quote, RFQ or product configurator work | 15K | 80K | 4 to 12 wks |
| Ongoing retainer (mid-market) | 5K/mo | 25K/mo | ongoing |
These are IWD's estimates of typical market ranges, not quotes from any agency on this list, and real projects vary. What moves them most: the number of contract price lists, how many records the ERP owns, freight rules (freight class, liftgate, delivery appointments) and product configuration beyond three options. The Shopify plan is a separate line.
Is Shopify the Right Platform for Your B2B Store?
Most agencies on this list focus on Shopify alone, so their answer will usually be yes. The honest split:
- Shopify B2B fits when: your pricing maps to catalogs and price lists, buyers mostly self-serve, you want DTC and B2B in one admin, and the ERP keeps the complicated logic.
- Look hard at Adobe Commerce or BigCommerce when: you need deep company hierarchies, negotiable quotes, requisition lists and purchase approval rules out of the box (all native in Adobe Commerce B2B), or orders beyond Shopify's 500-line-item limit.
Our Shopify Plus vs Adobe Commerce and Shopify Plus B2B vs BigCommerce B2B Edition comparisons cover the trade-offs in detail.
Decision Framework
Pick a Shopify B2B agency by your actual situation
US manufacturer or distributor with a large catalog, contract pricing and Epicor, Infor or Dynamics
Uncap. Named Shopify B2B projects on Epicor, Infor Visual and Dynamics 365 F&O. BlueSwitch is the strong second opinion.
Industrial brand replacing a legacy B2B platform, with complex shipping or product customization
BlueSwitch. The longest list of named manufacturing B2B case studies we found, including a replatform from Optimizely to Shopify B2B.
Institutional buyers who purchase through quotes and RFQs (schools, hospitals, public agencies)
Uncap. Its Canon Medical Systems build pairs B2C checkout with an institutional request-for-quote funnel. Fyresite, which lists quote builders and approval workflows, is the alternative.
Configurable or calculated products with a NetSuite or Epicor back office
Fyresite. Calculator and variation tooling for tile and pool table sellers, plus custom ERP connectors.
Design-led brand with a trade program and freight-heavy products
Domaine. Industry West's trade program on Shopify B2B, and a B2B practice that names LTL and FTL freight. Avex if wholesale is a smaller side of a lifestyle brand.
Leaving Magento with custom B2B pricing logic
Shero Commerce. A large migration practice and a named Magento to Shopify replatform with custom B2B features and intricate pricing logic. Swanky, which moved Natural Instinct from Adobe Commerce B2B to Shopify Plus, is the alternative if you also sell outside the US.
Selling B2B in the UK, Europe or Australia as well as the US
Swanky. Offices in the UK, Australia and France. Eastside Co if you want a separate wholesale store and a New York office.
DTC brand adding a professional channel that wants published entry pricing
Absolute Web. It publishes starting prices, and its Glo Skin Beauty build serves consumers and professional buyers on one platform.
ERP integration is the hard part (an older or heavily customized ERP, or one without a proven Shopify connector)
IWD Agency. Our B2B integration work on Adobe Commerce, with Infor SyteLine at DMC and Sage Intacct at Warner Press, is the reason to call us. See our ERP integration services.
Still deciding between Shopify Plus, Adobe Commerce and BigCommerce
IWD Agency. Not reflexively: we build on all three, so we can lose the Shopify sale and keep the client. A Shopify-only agency cannot make that recommendation against its own interest.
Questions to Ask Every Shopify B2B Agency
- Which live Shopify B2B stores have you launched in the last 24 months? Ask for URLs and a reference you can call.
- For each item on our list, is it native, an app, or custom? Listen for specific answers on catalogs, quotes, terms, tax and freight.
- Which Shopify plan do we need, and why? Direct catalog assignment, deposits and partial payments are Plus only.
- How will you handle tax-exempt customers? Shopify's US exemption codes cover resellers only, so ask where institutional exemption certificates will live.
- How will freight be priced at checkout? Which app or rules engine, which carriers, and how freight class and liftgate are handled.
- How will quotes work? Draft orders, a quote app or custom CPQ, and who approves on each side.
- How will purchase orders and net terms reach our ERP? Ask which system creates the invoice and which records the payment.
- How will you model our configurable products? Shopify allows 3 options and 2,048 variants per product.
- Which ERPs have you integrated with Shopify B2B, with named projects? And who supports the integration after launch?
- Who exactly works on our account? Names, roles and hours.
How We Scored This List: Methodology
Six checks, applied to every agency including IWD:
- Partner verification. Tier read from each agency's Shopify Partner Directory profile where we could find one (IWD's lists it as a Plus Partner), otherwise from the agency's own site, on October 29, 2026, and stated exactly as written.
- Named Shopify B2B work. Named clients or case studies on the agency's site or directory profile. Agencies without named, current Shopify B2B work were left out.
- Workflow coverage. Published evidence for contract pricing, quotes, terms, tax exemption, freight and configurable products.
- ERP depth. Named ERPs in named projects scored above capability lists.
- US presence. Offices as listed by the agency or the directory.
- Company size fit. Inferred from client rosters, published team size and published pricing.
Reviewed and left out: BVA (bvaccel.com now redirects to Accenture), We Make Websites (its Shopify Partner Directory profile now shows BORN), Electric Eye (it describes its typical clients as DTC lifestyle brands), Fuel Made and Blend Commerce (conversion specialists without published B2B builds), Praella (a Chicago Platinum Partner whose featured work we could not tie to a named B2B build), and Charle and Ask Phill (credible partners whose work centers on UK and European brands). Each may suit other briefs.
Disclosure: IWD Agency publishes this guide and lists itself first. Where a competitor fits better, the decision framework says so by name. If you think a placement is wrong, send us the evidence and we will re-score.
Frequently asked questions
Which is the best Shopify B2B agency in 2026?
It depends on your hardest workflow. For US manufacturers and distributors with an ERP, Uncap and BlueSwitch publish the most named Shopify B2B work. For configurable products, Fyresite. For brand-led trade programs, Domaine. If ERP integration is the hard part, or the platform is still open, IWD Agency.
Do I need Shopify Plus for B2B?
Not always. Shopify offers B2B on the Basic, Grow, Advanced and Plus plans. Plus is required for assigning catalogs directly to a company or location, unlimited catalogs, deposits, partial payments and payment requests per fulfillment; the lower plans allow three active catalogs across B2B markets. If each institution needs its own catalog or pricing, plan on Plus.
Can Shopify B2B handle tax-exempt schools and libraries?
Yes, with setup. Each company location has a tax ID and a tax setting: collect tax, don't collect tax, or collect unless exemptions apply. Shopify's built-in US exemption codes are state reseller codes, so a public school or library is usually set to don't collect tax, with certificates managed in a tax app, the ERP or an offline process.
Can Shopify quote LTL freight at checkout?
Not natively. Third-party carrier-calculated shipping is included on the Advanced and Plus plans (Grow can add it for a fee or with annual billing), and LTL rates come from a shipping app or rules engine that uses it. Each product also needs freight class, weight and dimensions.
Does Shopify B2B support quotes, purchase orders and net terms?
PO numbers, net terms, payment reminders, vaulted cards and ACH are native on all B2B plans. Quotes work natively through draft orders with custom or locked prices, and buyers can submit orders for your review. A buyer-initiated request-for-quote flow usually needs an app or custom work.
How much does a Shopify B2B agency cost?
By IWD's estimates of the US market, it typically costs 15K to 50K to add native B2B to an existing store, 75K to 250K for a new Shopify Plus B2B storefront, and 100K to 300K for a replatform. ERP integration typically adds 15K to 60K through a connector or 40K to 150K for custom sync. Absolute Web, Avex and Swanky publish starting prices on their directory profiles.
How long does a Shopify B2B build take?
By IWD's estimates, adding B2B to an existing store typically takes 4 to 8 weeks. A new Shopify Plus B2B storefront typically takes 12 to 22 weeks, and a replatform 16 to 28 weeks. Complex ERP integration and custom quoting add time. Fyresite publishes one to four months for its B2B projects.
Which ERPs integrate with Shopify B2B?
Shopify names Acumatica, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Celigo as B2B integration partners, and agencies on this list publish Shopify B2B projects on Epicor, Infor Visual, Dynamics 365 F&O and NetSuite. Ask for a named project on your ERP.
Shopify Plus B2B or Adobe Commerce for a manufacturer?
Shopify Plus fits when pricing maps to catalogs and price lists, buyers self-serve, and the ERP holds the complex logic. Adobe Commerce fits when you need native company hierarchies, negotiable quotes, requisition lists and purchase approval rules. An agency that builds on both can make that call without a stake in the answer.
